The
Td5 responds well to performance remap tuning. Give it a larger
intercooler, and it will give even more! But even with these fitted,
you will only have the standard 15psi boost available, and so will
never realise the full potential of your larger intercooler.
It
is possible to increase the turbo boost pressure, to give more power
and torque, by fitting the Td5 Alive Booster!
This clever liitle box will alow a boost pressure in excess of 20psi!
The
effects of fitting this are obvious from the moment you start to
drive. The car will feel brighter, right from low rpm, and will
help to provide a smooth spread of power. Any exhaust smoke you
had before fitting the booster, will be virtually eliminated due
to much improved combustion.
This
device is housed in an extruded alluminium case, and uses original
land rover connectors to ensure a perfect fit. It's also waterproof,
so can be used in the most extreme off road situations!
Please
note that this product must only be used in conjunction with an
appropriately remapped engine management system, and larger performance
intercooler!
